TAPP’S DAYS By Tunisiana

The 23.11.1 was a special date for the National Institute of Applied Sciences and technology (INSAT).
This college in collaboration with Tunisiana held a very extraordinary event: TAPP’S DAYS.

Many guests were present to enjoy the experience of having real professional technology makers offering their experience to ambitious developers.

The event started at 14:00 p.m by an opening word delivered by a member of the university’s administration. then , a group of Tunisiana’s commercial department mangers presented the importance of new applications for the Tunisiana future plans and strategies.

And to prove how much the application world is thirsty for new developers and special Tunisian ones , Tunisiana organized a national challenge which can get an international end for the winner .

After that , the event got more interesting when both Mr. Jean Paul Leucier: Career Sales Manager and Mr. Phillip Schmitt: Senior Alliance Manager , came to the stage. They are two employees working in RIM : Research In Motion ; which is a Canadian company known for her leadership when it comes to the technology of the BlackBerry.

A lot of statistics were presented and allowed the audience to feel how deep is the impact of the BB in everybody’s life worldwide ; let’s just say as an example that the total number of BB users in the world exceeded 70 Million among which 50 Million are addicts to it ! choking!

After , a coffee break , both of RIM workers presented with more details how do some applications work , how were they developed and what are the aims of the RIM companies when it comes to improving their products in the future ; in other words what would they do to make their clients more satisfied by the services they receive. It was pretty much important to know specially when we had the Information that only 1% of current applications are used frequently which means that 99% of applications are forgotten by the minute they were uploaded.What a scary and very challenging fact.

The day was far from ending when students and RIM presenters interacted throw some quizzes and some presents were given to those who knew the right answers.

As a first time , this event , TAPP4S DAYS (by Tunisiana) was a great occasion to catch up with the latest news concerning the BB technology from the right sources.

It was really worth -attending.

Hopping that this event would be just the beginning of serial other events even more captivating and seducing application to Tunisian apps developers.
